LAGBUS conveying Deeper Life members catches fire, burns down completely (photos)

Hundreds of Deeper Life Bible Church worshipers have escaped death when the LAGBUS conveying them from camp to Lagos caught fire on Sunday, April 16.
According to PM News, the LAGBUS which took off from the Deeper Life Conference Centre, Klm 42, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and was Lagos-bound, caught fire on Otedola Bridge, Berger.
NAIJ.com gathered that the passengers in the bus were coming back from a four-day retreat. The passengers were said to have ran out of the bus before the fire took the bus over completely.

A witness who craved anonymity said the bus might have caught fire as a result of over heating as it was fulled to capacity when the fire started. The worshipers abandoned their loads , ran for their lives in order not to be burnt with the bus. Officials of the fire servicemen arrived on time to assist in evacuating the passengers from the burning bus.

Although the bus got burnt down completely, no life was lost.

The witness said when worshipers suspected that a fire was about to be ignited, the asked the driver to stop and that when he did, they found every available means of escape before the fire fully engulfed the bus.
