Chioma Stephanie Obiadi representing Anambra state emerged Miss Nigeria 2016 after a tight contest between other queens from the 36 states in Nigeria. The other finalist were Miss Ebonyi State; Blessing Ude-Chukwu who was the first runner up with Miss Kwara state Shade Olalere taking the 2nd runner up spot.

Chioma  who was crowned by the out-going queen, Pamela Peter-Vigboro Leesi went home with a brand new SUV, one year serviced apartment, all expense paid trip to France, a 6 month skills acquisition training in any institution of her choice and N5 million cash prize.
She would also represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe contest next year.


The judges included Rita Dominic, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo, Adebola Williams, Chioma Ude, Ibinabo Fiberesima and Kunle Afolayan.
