10 winners from across Africa were announced at the Appsafrica Innovation Awards in Cape Town with winners from across Africa. South Africa and Nigeria had multiple winners along with Tanzania, Zambia and Kenya.

Ten winners of the AppsAfrica.com Innovation Awards 2016 were announced at a pan-African mobile and tech awards party in Cape Town, South Africa.

The Awards supported by Opera Software, The Mobi Hunter, Uber, Shule Direct, Mobile Monday South Africa and The Mobile Ecosystem Forum (MEF) celebrated the best in mobile and technology from across Africa and attracted over 200 entries from 25 countries.

This year the awards attracted over 200 entries from 25 countries, with the winners on the night hailing from South Africa, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

The awards party in Cape Town was a great evening of celebration and networking bringing together over 300 mobile and tech leaders, media, investors and innovators from across Africa.
