*Corpse of missing UNIOSUN student found near Alfa’s house Jafariya Village, Okebaale Osogbo*
Welcome to henry jex blog
The corpse of Oluwafemi Shonibare, a 400-level student of Microbiology Department of the Osun State University, who went missing nine days ago, has been found inside a bush near one Alfa’s house.
Students living on Jafariya Street told me that the alfa, who was arrested in connection with the boy’s disappearance, took the police to where the decomposing corpse was dumped at the back of his house.
When I visited the bush, I saw the spot where the boy’s corpse was dumped the spot was smelling badly with thousands of flies.
Angered by the incessant missing of students in the vicinity, some of the residents who are mainly the Uniosun students set the Alfa’s house on fire.
They also vandalised a mosque opposite the house.
The Dean, Student Affairs, UNIOSUN, Dr Adebimpe Adigun, who was at the scene, broke down in tears.
Some of the students, who spoke with the journalists on condition of anonymity, said “many weird items” were found inside the house.
One of the students, who entered into the house of the suspect before it was razed, said he saw female underwear, used sanitary pads, and sprinkles of blood inside a room. I personally saw all the aforementioned.
Another student said one of the missing 400-level students of Computer Engineering at UNIOSUN, Robert Akinduro, was living in the same house with Shonibare.
The house is about 50 metres away from the alfa's House.
And I'll show you the scenes of the incident in the pictorial report.
The other 400-level student, who also got missing since September 5, 2016, Samuel Eke, was living about four streets away from the area.
It will be recalled that Eke and Akinduro, who have been missing for the past 10 months, have not been found.
Another 400 level student at the Ipetu Ijesa Campus of UNIOSUN, Rofiat Adebisi, was kidnapped by a driver last December.
Her corpse was found some days later.
Meanwhile, the alfa, a 19-year-old man, Sakariyau Abdulrofiu, and his accomplices, 24-year-old Ibrahim Ayuba and Yusuf Aliu, 18, have confessed to the the Police that they killed Shonibare.
The suspects said they wanted to use the student for money ritual. (Ogun Owó)
Abdulrofiu said they hit Shonibare with a pestle on the head from the back and later butchered him.
He stated that the deceased head was burnt, adding that luck eventually ran out on them and they were apprehended by the police.
When I secretly interrogated a female student living nearby on how the alfa was discovered. She told me Sonibare phone last received call was checked and it was the Alfa’s number at that night.
Also, I was informed that Sonibare was the only child of his parent.
One funny aspect of the situation is that scavengers popularly called "àwọn ọmọ asalu" are working tirelessly to remove the building materials, unburnt corrugated sheets and parts of burnt vehicles.
Meanwhile, the students are currently protesting the incident in the major streets of Osogbo.
The scene has become flooded with sympathizers and press crew like AIT, NTA, TVC, OSBC and freelance reporters like myself.
