‘If only I could have one last conversation, one last dance, one last hug, one last letter, just a little more memorable time with you. 5 years and still feels like yesterday. We love you but I’m positive God loves you more. Continue to sleep well Father. Ina Lilahi Wa Ina Ilehi Rajiun.’

When 28-year-old Aisha Thelma Alli-Balogun Abiose mourned her dad who has been dead for five years on her Instagram two weeks ago, little did she know she would soon unwillingly have her wish.

A bubbly, spirited young woman has been denied her dreams by some yet-to-be-identified armed robbers and kidnappers who coldly snatched her life in an operation around the Asolo-Majidun road of the Ikorodu expressway in Lagos.

She was in company of her daughter,Fareeda and a pregnant friend. Both were subsequently kidnapped in the attack.

Aisha, a mother of two kids – a boy, and the kidnapped baby girl – was buried Saturday according to Islamic rites.

Aisha’s kids, Faisal and Fareeda. She had been looking forward to celebrating Christmas with them.

A friend, Lola Davies who witnessed Aisha’s burial said the kidnappers have demanded for a ransom. She didn’t say the total sum demanded.

Aisha, born on March 7, 1988, attended Reagan Memorial Baptist Girls Secondary School, and graduated with a BA in English from Lagos State University in 2009.

Also an actress, Aisha was one of the contestants at the 2011 edition of The Next Movie Star reality show which was eventually won by talented actress,Tamara Eteimo.

Efforts by Newsroon NG to reach Lagos Police PRO, Dolapo Badmos have so far proved futile, as she didn’t pick calls made to her phone and hasn’t responded to a text message by our correspondent.
