The eyes speak a million words
The heart hears in a million ways
With different beat in different times
the oblivion of knowing everything was a lie
The crime of never believing till the end
To trust in the smiles that were fake
It was all a lie, but i never knew
The smiles you promised to share
Never knew that when you left
You were saying bye not for a second but forever
No more second chance
Had to learn the hard way
That when you were gone
No more looking back
no more lingering stares
It took my heart a while to come to terms
we'll share a smile no more
That this was forever
no more looking back
Hoping for a glimpse
it hurts so much to know
That even with wings to fly high in the sky
You're never coming along for the ride
It breaks my heart to know
The goodbye that never came
Was a goodbye forever.
